Mikel Obi made his first start for Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League against Bulgarian club, Levski Sofia on 12 September 2006.
He scored his UCL debut goal about 8 years after, during Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat of Sporting Lisbon in October 2014 at the Stamford Bridge and it took him over a year later to score the follow up goal against PSG today, February 16, 2016 during his team’s ‘Round of 16’ match at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

The goal was the peak of the day’s valiant effort for Nigerian international but some Twitter users didn’t hold back as the game ended 2-1 in favour of the French club.
