Filipino boxing great, Manny Pacquiao has come under attack after openly condemning gays.
Pacquiao, who is running for Senate and is one of the most popular Filipinos, in a recent interview called out gays by comparing them to animals.
‘It’s common sense. Do you see animals mating with the same sex? Animals are better because they can distinguish male from female,’ he said.
He spoke further, ‘If men mate with men and women mate with women they are worse than animals.’
This however didn’t go down well with the homosexual community in the Asian nation as they are attacking the legendary boxer.
Homosexual celebs like comedian, Vice Ganda and Aiza Seguerra who recently married her female partner have all blasted the boxer whose fight with America’s Floyd Mayweather last year was described as the fight of the century.
Although gay union remains illegal in the nation, the country has a high number of gays who are now calling for the boycott by voters of Pacquiao’s Senate bid.
