The Center for World University Ranking (CWUR) has released the 2015 list of top Universities around the world.
The list is based on eight measures, including the portion of Alumni who have won major international awards or held CEO positions at the world’s leading companies and the number of research papers appearing in reputable journals.
The only African University that manages to make it to the first 149th spot is University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and University of Cape Town at 248th spot.
Here is the list of top 20 best universities in the world and no African University makes the list.
