Gordon Obua, former chief security officer to Nigeria’s immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan, is alive.
Obua did not wait for the SSS to deny or confirm reports that he had passed on while in the custody of the officers who have detained him since Thursday.
He simply turned up alive at a press conference today, effectively shutting down rumours of his death.
‘I am well and I have been well taken care of by my employers,’ Obua was reported to have said during the press conference in Abuja.
