Jason Derulo is reportedly putting his Florida mansion on the market for $2.9 million, according to Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, which has the listing.
Located on about 2 acres in Coconut Creek, the gated estate includes a main house measuring about 13,000 square feet, a guesthouse and a pool with a waterfall, said Colleen Kaye, who is co-listing the property with Coldwell Banker’s Tim Elmes. The house is currently configured with seven bedrooms plus an office and a game room, she said.
Derulo, a Florida native who shot to fame in 2009 with his debut single, ‘Whatcha Say,’ purchased the home for $1.75 million in 2012, according to public records.
When he was reached on the phone, he said he renovated the house after buying it, adding marble floors and a full gym. He turned the guesthouse into a studio, where he recorded an early version of his hit, ‘Want to Want Me.’
He also created a mirrored dance studio upstairs, where he choreographs his routines and preps for tours and music videos. ‘I can wake up and make it happen,’ he said.
