Three Premier League players have been named on a five-man shortlist for the 2015 BBC African Footballer of the Year award.
Manchester City and Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure, Southampton and Senegalese striker Sadio Mane and Andre Ayew, who plays for Swansea City and Ghana, have made the list. The trio are up against Porto and Algeria midfielder Yacine Brahimi – who won the 2014 award – and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund and Gabon.
