Like their west African neighbors, Golden Eaglets of Nigeria who mauled Brazil 3-0 at the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, Mali has also moved to the semi-finals of the competition after defeating Croatia by a single goal last night.
Sekou Koita’s first half goal saw the Malians grab their first ever semi-final ticket at the competition which has been won 4 times by the Nigerian side.
The Malians are also currently ranked the Best Attacking team at the competition with 9 goals and 114 attempts in 3 matches while their keeper Samuel Diarra has so far kept the cleanest sheets with 8 impressive saves.
