Veteran dancehall musician turned movie maker, Dare Fasasi better known as Baba Dee has been nominated at the upcoming Golden Icons Movies Awards (GIAMA). Baba Dee was nominated for Best Director for his comedy movie, Head Gone.
Baba Dee will be facing other top Nollywood directors including, Jeta Amata (Black November), Lancelot Imasuen (Invasion 1897) and Moses Inwang (Stalker). Others Are Chris Eneng Eneaji – (Trials of Igho), Muyiwa Aluko (Love Regardless) and Ejim Fortune Kezi (The Changer).
Baba Dee was also nominated alongside Sound Sultan for the Best Producer, while the movie got other nominations which are Best Screenplay, Best Film Comedy, Best Comedic act (Akpororo and Eniola Badmus), Best New Act (Akpororo) and Best Comedic Act-Viewers Chioce (Akpororo and Eniola Badmus).
